The sale of tickets for the 2022 FIFA World Cup has already started, tickets will be sold in three phases viz. Sales Phase (1), Sales Phase (2) and Last-Minute Sales Phase. The sales phase (1) & (2) are further divided into Random Selection Draw & First Come First Served. The Random Selection Draw for the Sales Phase (1) started on 19 January 2022 and ended on 8 February 2022, while the sale under the First Come First Served sale of Sale Phase (1) started on 23 March 2022 (11:00 CET) and ended on 29 March 2022.
As of now, the ticket sale under the Random Selection Draw of the Sales Phase (2) will commence on 5 April 2022 (11:00 CEST) and ends on 28 April 2022 (11:00 CET). Four types of tickets are available: Individual Match Tickets (IMTs), Supporter Tickets (STs), Conditional Supporter Tickets (CSTs), and Four-Stadium Ticket series (FSTs). During this phase, the applicants can submit their application at any time without any preference, after the closure of the sales period all ticket applications submitted will be collected and tickets will be allocated based on a random selection draw. Successful ticket applicants will be notified of the outcome of their ticket applications by email no earlier than 31 May 2022, coinciding with the start of the payment period. Non-receipt of payment or partial payment within the prescribed time limit will lead to the cancellation of the tickets.
