2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup Schedule in Japan Standard Time (JST)

The 8th edition of FIFA Women’s World Cup is scheduled to be played from June 7 to July 7, 2019 (June 8 to July 8, 2019 as per Japan Standard Time) in France, the FIFA Women’s World Cup is organized once in every four years in which national women’s football teams take part. The Japan women’s national football team which ended as Runners-up of the previous competition will be one of the top contenders for the title.  The  Nadeshiko Japan have taken part in all the previous seven editions of the FIFA Women’s World Cup, the best performance from the team came in 2011 in Germany when the Japanese women’s team won the title.

The 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup will be contested between 24 teams from six confederations. These 24 teams are placed in 6 groups of 4 team each, the tournament will last for 30 days during which 52 matches will be played in the round robin and knock out format across 9 different venues of France.

In the previous years’ tournament, the USA has emerged as the most successful team winning three world cups while Germany follows suit with two titles and one each won by Japan and Norway. Japan being the Runners-up of previous world cup would be hoping to go one extra step to win the title, also, the Japanese fans would also be eager to follow every match of their team, however fans might find it difficult to know the match schedule as the matches will be played in France which uses Central European Summer Time which is different from Japan Standard Time . The first match of the competition will be played on June 8, 2019 between South Korea and host France at 4:00 AM Japanese Time at the Parc des Princes, while the final match will be contested between the winners of two semi-final matches on July 8, 2019 at 12:00 AM Japan Standard Time at the Parc Olympique Lyonnais in Lyon. Nadeshiko Japan will start their campaign on June 11, 2019 against Argentina at 1:00 AM Japan Standard Time.
