La Liga, the top professional football league in Spain, began its 2022-23 season in August. As with every year, the league will feature some of the best teams and players in the world, all competing for the prestigious La Liga title. One team to watch out for in La Liga 2022-23 is FC Barcelona. The Catalan giants have a history of success in the league, having won the title a record 26 times. They have a balanced squad including the likes of Robert Lewandowski Ousmane Dembélé, Memphis Depay and Sergio Busquets, these players are regarded as one of the bests in the world. Barcelona will be looking to reclaim the title from rivals Real Madrid, who won the league last season.
Another team to keep an eye on is Atletico Madrid. The Rojiblancos have been one of the most consistent teams in La Liga in recent years, finishing in the top three in each of the last eight seasons. They have a strong defense led by goalkeeper Jan Oblak, who has been named the best goalkeeper in the world by the International Federation of Football History & Statistics for the last four years in a row. Atletico will be looking to challenge for the title this season and end Barcelona and Real Madrid’s dominance in the league.
